People often ask what problems and conditions can be treated with physiotherapy:

  • Spinal problems including prolapsed discs, degeneration, sciatica, lumbago, stiff / painful neck and referred arm and leg pain.

  • Joint problems including arthritis, injury, pain, swelling and stiffness in joints such as the elbows, shoulders, wrists, hips, knees and ankles.

  • Injuries to muscle, ligament, cartilage and tendon.

  • Repetitive strain injuries.

  • Post-surgical rehabilitation, for example after hip and knee replacement, or general physiotherapy following surgery.

  • Fractures, which can be treated to increase the healing rate and regain full function once the bones have healed.

What Our Clients Are Saying

“I have seen Sue Cooke regularly over the past 15 years with a variety of spinal problems. The treatment she has given me has been highly professional, carefully tailored to my needs and very effective. She has provided incredible support through some really difficult times.”
Mrs. M.V.B.
"I have suffered for some years from shoulder and neck stiffness and aching. My wife suggested I contact Sue Cooke, her physiotherapist for many years. On my first visit, the problem was identified as resulting from poor alignment of head, neck and shoulders. After two sessions of treatment, and by following the programme of exercises specified, the physical discomfort has significantly reduced and posture greatly improved."
Mr. E.B.
